Abstract: The aim of this project is to evaluate the environmental impact of freshwater input of nutrients (N, P) versus release from sediment in Kerteminde Fjord and Kertinge Nor. The design of the project is based on knowledge on the dynamic interplay between hydrography and key filter-feeding organisms, which is crucial for understanding the impact of suggested shutting down of surrounding farmland to reduce especially input of nitrogen to the fjord-system.
